A new extension to the Clubhouse was added five years ago but the unique timber beamed building still exists where one can find the cosy bar and part of the informal restaurant. This provides the club with character that sets apart this club from the rest! Over the years the clubhouse has developed, providing members and visitors with a fully licensed bar, restaurant, party venue, pro shop, men and ladies changing rooms and a games room (pool and darts). There is also a comfortable conservatory and patio which catches the sun all day overlooking the 18th hole, putting green and driving range, perfect in the summer time. The homely family atmosphere and even a crackling open fire in the winter months is a welcome retreat after the trials and tribulations you may encounter on the golf course. There is an active social scene at the club so look out for the special events that are held throughout the year. The kitchen has recently been taken over by Alexis. He looks forward to offering delicious home cooked food, including anything from a bacon sandwich to a 3 course meal. He also intends to offer roast dinners on Sundays and evening meals on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer time. The friendly staff are only too pleased to provide you with a home cooked meal and a pint of real ale. The golf shop has under-gone some big changes over the years, it has developed into a well-stocked and friendly service where club members and visitors are made to feel welcome. We stock all golfing equipment, ladies and men’s clothing and footwear, our top brands include Titleist, Cobra, Ping and Footjoy. Our highly trained staff comprise of two teaching professional golfers, Neil Jackson (Head Pro) and Rob Pritchard (PGA Pro) who have both played in many professional events around the world and would be very happy to give you some coaching to improve your game.
