The Ladies entered the County Jubilee Shield for the first time this year to add to the Cranworth and the Stearn competitions. After a bye in the preliminary round we were drawn to play away at Seckford in the first round.

This match was played last Wednesday (6th May) by teams of eight in high winds, at least two clubs, and a fair measure of rain.

We had a pleasing result with matches finishing 5 up, 4 up and two matches halved so the result was 9 up to Cretingham, Hambro scoring.

We await the result of the Aldeburgh v Rookery Park match later this month to know who we will be playing at home in the quarter finals. Well done to all the players, a great result in difficult conditions.
